Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO) is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Assistant to join its Lima office. As a key member of the team, you will provide critical support to the organization, ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional administrative support, including case management, data entry, and record-keeping.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and events as needed.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Relevant secretarial experience and excellent secretarial skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, word processing, email, and calendaring software in a Windows environment.
  • Ability to relate well with low-income individuals, be dependable, competent, trustworthy, and committed to legal services and working with low-income people.
  • High standards of interpersonal communication, including effective telephone communication and written and oral communication.
  • Sound judgment and initiative, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Good organizational skills and the capacity to meet deadlines in a multi-function office environment.
  • Valid driver's license preferred, with a good driving record and automobile insurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Law office or public services experience.
  • Fluency in Spanish language.
