Job Summary

At Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care, we are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Business Development - Community Relations professional to join our team. This role embodies a passion for making a difference and is the driving force behind our hospice team, forging connections with doctors, facilities, and healthcare organizations to ensure every patient receives the care they deserve.

As a Business Development - Community Relations professional, you will be responsible for the profitable marketing of hospice services, meeting or exceeding the profitable growth of referrals, and increasing length of stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the profitable marketing of hospice services, including Third Party Payers and Managed Care Companies, Physicians, Hospitals, Nursing Homes, and Medical Institutions.
  • Meet or exceed the profitable growth of referrals and increase length of stay.
  • Coordinate and market all hospice contracts, monitoring progress and collecting relevant data.
  • Work with the Executive Director to identify and qualify potential new services to meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement annual marketing plans.
  • Analyze referral data, trends, and adjust marketing efforts based on data analysis.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of patients' records and all other confidential information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent experience in sales and marketing in the service industry.
  • One to three years of sales and marketing experience, preferably in-home care or hospice.
  • Ability to travel and reliable vehicle/transportation.
