About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a North Carolina Deputy Field Organizer - Electoral Engagement Specialist. This role will be responsible for engaging young people in electoral politics by registering thousands of young people to vote across the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement voter registration drives and get-out-the-vote efforts in collaboration with local community and student groups.
  • Recruit and train a local volunteer team to organize their networks around voter registration drives and get-out-the-vote efforts.
  • Work with college administrations to increase civic participation and voter registration within the campus community.
  • Plan and host events within the community, on campus, and virtually to engage young people in electoral politics.
  • Meet all data and field reporting deadlines to ensure accurate tracking of progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Ability to work independently and remotely with a strong work ethic and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communicator in 1:1, group, or public environments with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous electoral organizing experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual candidates are a plus.
