Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with direct patient care needs under the direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN)
  • Foster a healing environment with respect and kindness, demonstrating sensitivity to cultural diversity
  • Contribute to the plan of care through ongoing communication with the RN
  • Assist with patient data and specimen collection, utilizing 2 patient identifiers for proper patient identification

Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Six months experience as a Nursing Assistant or is a Nursing Student currently enrolled in a formal program
  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred
