We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at Campbell Soup Company. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the production of goods, including pre-weighing ingredients, staging for mixing operations, cutting of raw materials, and removal of discarded product/materials.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all areas of manufacturing, including cardboard removal, floors swept/mopped, counters and equipment cleaned.
- Lubricate, hand clean parts, and assemble production equipment.
- Perform a variety of general manual labor tasks, including lifting and moving materials, loading and unloading materials, and assisting in the handling of heavy materials.
- Work with others as a team to complete tasks in an efficient manner and minimize downtime.
- Assist other employees with their assigned work tasks.
- Packages or assists in packing, finished goods, parts, materials, and equipment for customer delivery.
- Delivers and picks up materials in various parts of the plant when needed.
- Performs routine maintenance to equipment.
- Follows department rules, procedures, routines, and requirements to complete assigned duties.
- May be asked to operate machinery within the site.
- Practices and adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), Allergen program, and Safety guidelines/procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Mandatory overtime may be required.
