Production Supervisor

As a Production Manager at Lion Corporation, you will be responsible for managing production operations to meet schedules and ensure compliance with specifications, standards, and work instructions. You will maintain a safe manufacturing work environment focused on supporting our mission to employ people who are blind.
Key Responsibilities:
• Effectively supervise the production department to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant production work environment.
• Develop and implement improved strategies, plans, and/or procedures for lean utilization.
• Utilize the ERP for updating BOMs, lot traceability, and production and MRP scheduling.
• Manage, delegate, train, provide performance feedback, and applicable disciplinary coaching to direct and indirect reports as appropriate.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that production schedules are met.
• Direct employee work schedules and equipment utilization to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency.
• Establish and evaluate time analysis to set and monitor productivity goals.
• Ensure that production product lines are organized to improve flow.
• Assist with fixture and process design for safe and efficient blind employment.
• Oversee preventive measures and corrective actions for consistent improvements.
• Maintain organizational continuity within the production department.
• Assist COO with budget management.
• Evaluate workstations for enhanced ergonomics and safety in accordance with OSHA.
• Provide recommendations to enhance productivity and preserve jobs for people who are blind.
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree preferred.
• Eight years plus of management experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
• SyteLine experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and writing communication skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Bilingual speaking skills is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
• Prolonged periods of walking around the facilities on a very regular basis.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
