Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cheerleading Coach to lead our high school team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality cheer program that promotes school spirit and supports student development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the cheerleading team to achieve excellence in competition and performance.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive cheerleading program that aligns with the school's values and goals.
  • Recruit and retain talented student athletes to participate in the cheerleading program.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administrators to promote the cheerleading program and address any concerns.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in cheerleading as a participant and/or coach or related position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to drive students to competition sites as required.
  • Competency working in a culturally diverse environment or the willingness to acquire these skills.
Stipend Information

The stipend for this position will be determined based on a percentage of the base salary negotiated by DMEA. Stipends are subject to be prorated if the full season is not worked.
