Ecu Health Beaufort hospital serves as a campus of Vidant health Medical center. It is home to a 16-bed emergency department that serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. The hospital also offers general medical and surgical services, operative services, a women's birthing center, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a registered nurse to join our medical unit team. As a registered nurse, you will provide care in accordance with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice and other standards established by profession/professional groups, regulating bodies/agents. You will be responsible for providing and coordinating nursing care to include the collection and analysis of assessment data, identification of expected outcomes and development of plan of care in collaboration with the patient/family and other interdisciplinary team members.

Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care, including assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and educating patients and families on health management and disease prevention.
* Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care across departments and disciplines.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Requirements:
* Diploma in Nursing, Associates in Nursing or higher
* Current NC RN license or licensure to practice in a participating Nurse Licensure Compact state Health Care Provider is required.
* AHA Basic Life Support is required.
