Vidant Health Physicians is seeking a motivated Healthcare Quality Improvement Professional to join our team in Washington, NC. This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN degree and 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in ambulatory/clinic and quality roles. They will work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve patient safety and quality outcomes by promoting a safety culture and infrastructure. Key responsibilities include identifying and evaluating risks for harm, analyzing the appropriate utilization of healthcare services, guiding practice and operations with applicable regulations or standards, and advancing a continuous readiness culture. Additionally, they will apply knowledge of ongoing professional practice evaluation, focused professional practice evaluation, and requisite structures and processes, communicate accountability and reporting requirements, and manage performance improvement opportunities. As a Clinical Process Improvement Nurse, you will work closely with providers to ensure complete and timely documentation, maximize payment, and minimize details.

This role involves working on weekdays only, with no nights, weekends, or call. The successful candidate will be based in Washington, NC, but may rotate between various clinic sites in Washington, Belhaven, and Chocowinity.
