Vidant Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at ECU Health Beaufort. As a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Unit, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes.
Position SummaryWe are looking for an experienced RN who can provide compassionate and individualized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Your expertise will enable you to assess patient needs, develop personalized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions to promote positive health outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Promote a culture of safety and quality within the surgical unit by identifying and mitigating risks associated with patient care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Provide educational support to patients and families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
- Develop and implement effective pain management strategies, utilizing evidence-based practices to optimize patient comfort.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina and demonstrate competencies in nursing practice. Basic computer skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
Work EnvironmentThe Surgical Unit at ECU Health Beaufort is a 27-bed intermediate and general unit that provides care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. This part-time night position offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively with a talented team of healthcare professionals while contributing to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Estimated Salary Range$85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
