Head Start Professional

We are seeking an experienced Early Learning Mentor to join our team at Kai Ming Head Start. In this role, you will work closely with our education staff to provide mentor coaching, professional development, training, resources, and support to deliver high-quality services and improve outcomes for young children.
About the Position:
- This is a full-time exempt position, reporting directly to the Director of Human Resources/Program Director of STEP.
- You will be responsible for developing and implementing coaching models and processes that promote a safe and nurturing learning environment for staff.
- Collaborate with Regional Managers and STEP Program Directors to design and deliver ongoing professional development plans for education staff.
- Evaluate program practices to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and Community Care Licensing regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Human Development, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in a public or private organization providing direct delivery of services to clients, with a focus on 0-5 children and families in early care and education settings.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills.
Compensation:
- A competitive salary range ($70,000 - $90,000 per year).
