About This Opportunity

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Carolina Reserve of Durham. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide Resident Care: Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting. Turn and position residents to prevent skin breakdown and promote comfort.
  2. Assist with Daily Living Activities: Deliver food and beverages, provide ice packs and dressings, and assist with wound care.
  3. Monitor and Record Resident Data: Track food intake, urinary and fecal output, and report any changes to medical and nursing staff.
  4. Communicate Effectively: Work with physicians, caregivers, and nurses to process information and provide resident care.
  5. Ensure Safety and Infection Control: Follow established protocols and procedures for infection control, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
Requirements
  • Passion for Senior Care: Demonstrate a genuine interest in working with seniors and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
  • Certification and Education: Possess a current CNA certification and a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Develop strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Teamwork and Time Management: Work collaboratively with the care team to prioritize tasks, manage time, and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in high-pressure situations.
