Cardiology Ambulatory Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Care team in the General Cardiology department at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide nursing support and care to patients with cardiovascular conditions in an ambulatory setting.
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and support staff to ensure timely and effective communication and scheduling.
- Participate in departmental and organizational quality management and/or quality improvement projects as directed by the leadership team.
- Proficiently use the electronic medical record to document patient information in a clear, concise, and compliant manner.
- Provide clinical telephone triage and general nursing support for patients across the Ambulatory General Cardiology Department.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience in an Ambulatory Clinic/Practice setting.
- Minimum of 3 years responsible related experience as a Registered Nurse within a patient care ambulatory environment with expertise in Cardiology.
- Experience with telephone triage and telephone-based clinical assessment techniques.
- Experience providing in-person triage and direct patient care for acute and chronic conditions as appropriate for an ambulatory outpatient setting.
- Experience performing point of care testing and ambulatory clinic procedures.
