Accounting Position at Elwood Staffing

We are seeking a highly motivated Data Entry Clerk for Accounts Payable to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes.

Your responsibilities will include preparing customer payments for deposit, applying customer payments to invoices, and researching payments that do not include remittance advices. You will also process child support orders by researching status and setting up deductions, and perform general clerical duties including scanning, copying, and faxing documents.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare customer payments for deposit into the bank.
  • Apply customer payments to invoices as directed by remittance advices.
  • Research payments that do not include remittance advices.
  • Process child support orders by researching status and setting up deductions.
  • Perform general clerical duties including scanning, copying, and faxing documents.

Compensation: Estimated $45,000 - $55,000 per year
