Job Summary

Developmental Services, Inc. in Columbus is seeking a highly skilled Billing and Financial Management Expert to join our team. As a key member of our Business Services division, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for our Medicaid Waiver and Group Home programs.

Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data entry and understanding of Medicaid Group Home billing and Medicaid Waiver billing.
  2. Weekly process social service client movement forms and updating Provide.
  3. Bi-weekly posting of cash receipts and all money transfers.
  4. Monthly analysis and data entry for invoicing and claim completion of Stateline funded services.
  5. Monthly generation of various financial reports.
  6. Research and resolve A.R. aging report discrepancies for waiver customers #11, #13, #15 group homes.
  7. Assist with internal and external auditing (matching billing and client documentation).

Requirements:

  1. B.S. preferred in accounting, business, or related field; Associate degree acceptable.
  2. Two years demonstrated experience in bookkeeping.
  3. Intermediate skills in Excel.
  4. Able to maintain confidentiality of persons served and agency business information.
