Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Developmental Services, Inc. in Columbus. As a key member of our Business Services division, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate billing for our Medicaid Waiver and Group Home programs.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform weekly data analysis and entry for Medicaid Waiver and Group Home invoicing and claim completion.
  2. Analyze and correct data entry discrepancies resulting from late reporting of service delivery.
  3. Process social service client movement forms and update Provide.
  4. Billing of VR services.
  5. Analyze no authorization report and make necessary corrections and overlapping time report.
  6. Post cash receipts and all money transfers.
  7. Invoice and reconcile 45050 account monthly.
  8. Analyze and data enter invoicing of Group Home persons served liabilities and non-DSI building tenants monthly.
  9. Generate various financial reports monthly.
  10. A.R. aging report for waiver customers #11, #13, #15 group homes, and research outstanding items.
  11. Prepare report for group home leave days and occupancy days monthly.
  12. Analyze and correct data discrepancies to #13 and #15 statements. Distribute to correct employees.
  13. Maintain confidentiality of persons served and agency business information in compliance with agency policies and applicable state and federal regulations.
