About the Role:

The Respiratory Assistant II plays a vital role in delivering respiratory therapy services under the supervision of a licensed respiratory care practitioner.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit clinical skills and knowledge in various hospital settings while adhering to the guidelines of the Limited Permit issued by the State of Ohio.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to enhance patient care.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all stakeholders.
  • Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures and diagnostic tests in line with departmental protocols.
  • Document patient assessments and maintain accurate departmental records.
  • Ensure proper patient identification procedures are followed.

Qualifications:
Education:
Currently enrolled in a recognized respiratory care educational program and maintaining good academic standing.

Licensure / Certification:
Possess a valid Limited Permit from the Ohio Medical Board, with verification maintained throughout employment.
Current BLS certification is also required.
