We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to join our team in the Student Health and Wellness department at Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science.

About the Role:

In this role, you will provide critical support to students, faculty, and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of the department. Your responsibilities will include event planning, data collection, and special project management, among others.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement plans for SHAW events, workshops, orientations, and training sessions.
  2. Maintain confidential student information, adhering to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
  3. Prepare and disseminate reports, correspondence, and other materials as needed.
  4. Analyze and present data to stakeholders.
  5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  6. Provide guidance to students regarding available resources and services.
  7. Coordinate student health insurance enrollment and facilitate access to health-related products and services.
  8. Collaborate with the communications team to develop engaging content for the university website and social media channels.
  9. Support the development and implementation of basic needs surveys.

Qualifications:

  • Regionally accredited bachelor's degree in public health or a related field.
  • Minimum three years of experience working in a student health department or student health and wellness program at a higher education institution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $62,400 per annum (based on location and industry standards).
