About This Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our multidisciplinary team at Orlando Health Cancer Institute. As an SLP, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages with varying acuity levels.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients, gathering data from the patient, physician, interdisciplinary team meetings if available, family and significant other persons, and data sources.
  • Develop treatment plans which integrate with the continuum of care and have specific goals and objectives.
  • Re-evaluate and modify treatment plan and goals when appropriate, and prepares written documentation as required by the department, and the care team.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in speech/language pathology from an approved program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement in the Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Florida.
  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.
