Job Title: Language Pathology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Language Pathology Specialist to join our team at Orlando Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work with patients of all ages to treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

About the Role:

This is a weekend option position, requiring flexibility to work varied shifts on weekends. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing care that meets the needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to gather data and develop treatment plans that integrate with the continuum of care.
  • Develop treatment plans that have specific goals and objectives, demonstrating knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served.
  • Assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
Requirements:
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement in Clinical Fellowship Year requirements.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist license in the State of Florida (Provisional license acceptable).
  • Current BLS/HealthCare Provider Certification.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
