Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Medical Professional to join our team as a Diabetes and Endocrinology Specialist at AdventHealth Central Florida.

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner, ARNP or Physician Assistant, PA-C to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role
  • Performs comprehensive physical examinations and evaluations of adult patients with diabetes, endocrine disorders, and metabolic diseases.
  • Orders and interprets diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory and imaging studies.
  • Monitors patient treatment progress and makes referrals to physicians or specialists as needed.
  • Collaborates with physician supervisors and staff to ensure consistent patient care and support.
  • Maintains a caring and professional attitude while promoting personal and professional growth.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
  • 1-3 years of experience in providing care for patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders (preferred).
  • Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license.
  • Current, valid DEA license.
  • ANCC, NCCPA (or equivalent) certification.
  • BLS and ACLS required.
