The client intake coordinator serves as the initial point of contact, ensuring a superior experience for individuals seeking our services. As a client intake coordinator, proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, active listening, and effective problem-solving are crucial. Your Daily Activities May Include:
- Assisting clients in understanding and accessing our services more effectively. Utilize your training, problem-solving abilities, and team support to respond to client inquiries efficiently
- Documenting client interactions accurately. Employ your attentive listening skills to quickly identify the essence of a client's question and record all communications in real-time
- Collecting essential demographic and insurance details and inputting data into the departmental system
- Directing specific and complex inquiries to the appropriate resources (management, clinical support, billing inquiries, etc.)
- Performing additional responsibilities as required
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer service role
- Associate's degree preferred
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 and Teams
- Above-average proficiency with Avatar (test out)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local and regional travel
