Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect, identify, annotate, and enter research information into a computer database
  • Identify maintenance requirements for mechanical and electrical equipment

Requirements:

  • A High School diploma with 2+ years of relevant experience conducting parts research for mechanical and electrical systems for the military, commercial, and recreational marine industry in boats under 200 feet
  • Experience with data entry and manipulating spreadsheets
  • Experience and knowledge of Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3M) program
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Docs & Gmail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Power Point

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Perform equipment validations on boats either on trailers or in the water
  • Former US Navy Machinist's Mate, Engineman, or Electricians Mate preferred

Clearance Requirements:

  • Current and active Secret security clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
  • Often positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • May be asked to move Audio/Visual or Computer equipment.
