The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support the Youth Education Department in its mission to provide education programs for newly arrived youth.

The Youth Education Coordinator will work closely with the Youth Education Supervisor to oversee various programs, including Tutoring, Leaders in Training, Community Events, the Newcomer Youth Summer Academy (NYSA), and Youth ESOL.

Responsibilities will include data processing, creating M&E reports, and program strategy, as well as providing curriculum and logistical support to the Youth ESOL instructor.

This is a part-time hybrid position, requiring flexibility to come into our offices in midtown Manhattan during weekdays and some Saturdays as required.

The ideal candidate will have a current graduate student or recent graduate student in education or a related field, with demonstrated experience working with refugee or immigrant students and families.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are required, with fluency in a second language preferred.

Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word, is also essential.
