Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Technician to join our team at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. As an Orthopedic Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our orthopedic patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in the application and management of casts and braces
  • Provide instruction and assistance to resident physicians in cast, splint, and brace application
  • Give instruction on proper care of casts, braces, etc. to patients
  • Assist with orders and maintain an adequate stock of orthopaedic supplies
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED plus one (1) year of direct patient care experience
  • Experience as an Orthopedic Technician and certification is preferred
  • Willing to obtain certification in Ortho technician within 6 months of hire
