The City of Clearwater, FL is seeking a highly skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. This role provides administrative support to various departments within the city.

As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will perform a wide range of highly-skilled administrative tasks, including typing, transcribing, and taking dictation for letters, statements, reports, minutes, and other materials. You will also maintain, organize, and store files of high volume and variety.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in composing routine correspondence and special materials from instructions, working with various individuals to meet the clerical needs of the department or area, and preparing and typing reports according to established methods.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, High School Equivalency Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate PLUS six (6) months of vocational training, supplemented by two (2) years of responsible office staff support work; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.
