Risk Manager Job Description

Join Texas Health Resources as a Risk Manager and contribute to the success of our organization by identifying and mitigating risks that impact patient safety and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the reliability learning tool to identify and address patient safety/risk exposures affecting the quality of care and outcomes.
  • Aggregate, analyze, and prepare data reports for presentation to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the Risk Management Program, including identification, analysis, planning, and implementation of strategies to mitigate risks and improve patient safety.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
  • Three years of clinical experience, with a strong background in risk management and quality improvement.
  • Acute care hospital experience and a risk management background are highly preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (TX RN) or another appropriate clinical licensure is required.
  • CPHRM - Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management is preferred.
