About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Director of Special Education to join our team at Our Sacred Academy, Inc. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in special education leadership and a passion for supporting students with developmental exceptionalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level administrative support to leadership and staff
  • Assist in strategic planning and implementation of Academy initiatives
  • Manage and coordinate special projects, including curriculum events and parent engagement activities
  • Assist in budgeting and financial management tasks
  • Educate, inform, and enforce staff on Academy policies and procedures
  • Support in education administration activities as needed
  • Facilitate Title I Academy responsibilities, including quarterly parent meetings and teacher observations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field
  • Effective management skills and comprehensive knowledge of administrative and school operations
  • Prior experience and highly knowledgeable in the development, assessment, and management of curriculum, content areas, and instruction
  • Prior experience and/or knowledge in special education services and compliance, particularly for students with autism-related disabilities, behavioral disorders, and/or emotional disturbance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in education, special education, or educational leadership
  • Current FL educator certification with endorsement in special education, student services, or a closely related subject
  • Licensed currently or have the ability to obtain an educational leadership, school principal, administrator, or related credential
