Job Summary and Qualifications

As an MRI Technologist, you will assist physicians in conducting magnetic resonance imaging procedures.

We are a supportive team that values collaboration, and we are looking for a remarkable individual who shares our commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review and complete necessary documentation for each patient, including exams, scheduling, physician orders, departmental logs, imaging records, consents, medical records, and patient charges.

- Transport patients to and from their rooms and the emergency department.

- Monitor equipment for mechanical safety.

- Explain procedures to patients to alleviate anxiety and ensure cooperation.

- Position patients on the examination table and adjust immobilization devices to achieve optimal imaging of the specified body area as requested by the physician.

- Collaborate effectively with the Diagnostic Imaging Department team.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Technologist program is required.

- Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).

- MRI registry is required within six months for eligible candidates.

- A minimum of two years' experience in a hospital imaging department is preferred.

- One year of experience in CT or MRI is preferred.

- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.


This position requires full vaccination for COVID-19 in accordance with local, state, and/or federal regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is granted).
