About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at SMI Imaging LLC. As a key member of our radiology team, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies
  • Select appropriate imaging techniques and operate console and peripheral hardware
  • Enter and monitor patient data, transfer images from disk to magnetic media, and develop film in automatic processor
  • Maintain accurate study documentation and perform a variety of tasks
Requirements
  • Formal education and training in the field or a related area
  • MRI certification from ARRT or ARMRIT
  • Registration as a General Radiographer in the State of Texas
  • 1 year of experience preferred
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines and priorities. You must be able to work in a stressful environment and be exposed to biohazards and chemicals as outlined in the MSDS Manual.
