Physician Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our team at Excela Health. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Manages day-to-day inpatient and outpatient care in conjunction with supervising physicians.
* Provides patient education, counseling, and instruction on common patient problems.
* Formulates differential diagnoses by considering multiple potential mechanisms causing complex acute, critical, and chronic illness states.
* Demonstrates effective verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills, including documentation according to established standards.
Requirements:
* Graduate of a Physician Assistant Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education.
* Current PA Physician Assistant license, certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
* Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
* Act 33/73 clearances.
Work Environment:
* The Physician Assistant will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of healthcare professionals.
* The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting, communicate clearly with patients and colleagues, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
Physical Demands:
* The Physician Assistant will be required to stand, walk, sit, and move about the healthcare facility.
* The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 20 pounds, push and pull equipment, and work in a variety of environments.
Environmental Factors:
* The Physician Assistant will be exposed to a variety of environmental factors, including temperature changes, humidity, and slippery walking surfaces.
* The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
Cardiovascular Energy Requirements:
* The Physician Assistant will be required to maintain a high level of energy and stamina throughout the workday.
* The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a dynamic environment with frequent changes in pace and activity.
