Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Ambry Genetics. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support and facilitate processes to ensure the smooth operation of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new hires, review background checks, and process new hire paperwork
  • Support the offboarding process by creating and processing separation documentation
  • Maintain department shared drives with current forms, templates, and SOPs
  • Coordinate meetings and team events, ensuring all logistical details are managed effectively
  • Maintain department calendar, ensuring all events, celebrations, and activities are accurately tracked and communicated
  • Manage complex interview scheduling, coordinating with candidates and internal employees
  • Support engagement initiatives with planning and execution and distribute department communications
  • Answer employee questions, including general questions regarding HR processes and procedures
  • Support team to reach departmental goals through routine tasks and/or special projects
  • Act as a steward of company culture, promoting and maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Plan and coordinate department events and activities that foster team engagement and reinforce organizational values
  • Manage incoming and outgoing department mail
  • Assist with submitting expense reports
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to achieve thoroughness and confirm accuracy
  • Possesses strong teamwork skills and works well with customers, colleagues, managers, and other individuals across the entire company
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
  • Results and goal-oriented
