Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at MicroVention. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the assembly and production of medical devices and products in a senior position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly or sub-assembly of medical devices and products under limited supervision.
  • Assist the Lead and Supervisor in coordinating production activities.
  • Follow manufacturing instructions to assemble product and record data associated with the build.
  • Work with Engineers and Supervisors to perform special assembly requests.
  • Assist the Production Lead in addressing day-to-day production issues.
  • Follow all related quality, compliance, and company policies and procedures.
  • Understand operations objectives and work with team members to achieve overall production goals.
  • Responsible for learning and maintaining knowledge and skills to perform majority of the manufacturing processes successfully.
  • Train other assemblers on certified manufacturing procedures as directed by the Lead and Supervisor.
  • Act as a Production Lead as needed.
  • Provide employee performance feedback to Lead and Supervisor.
  • Meet all performance standards and metrics by using time and resources efficiently.

Requirements

  • Five (5+) years of manufacturing experience, preferably in a Medical Device Assembly.
  • Ability to do small part assembly work using a microscope, vision system, and or related automated equipment.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate (read, write, and speak in English) with peers, engineers, leads, supervisors, and managers.
  • Proficiency in assembly procedures, with the ability to train others on the assembly procedures and inspect assemblers' work.
  • Basic computer and Microsoft Office software skills.
