S&K Building Services is expanding its team across the nation and seeking a Commercial Lift Operator and Window Cleaning Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our client base at a mid-level by utilizing aerial scissor lift and boom lift platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Window Cleaning: Effectively cleanse windows and glass surfaces using non-abrasive cleaning tools, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Lift Operations: Safely operate aerial scissor lift platforms and other boom lift equipment to reach windows of high-rise buildings, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with site contacts before, during, and after completion of work, ensuring customer satisfaction and retrieving customer endorsements on work orders.
- Equipment Management: Transport and set up water-fed poles to clean windows of multi-story buildings, and subsequently break down equipment, maintaining a high level of organization and efficiency.
- Cleanliness and Maintenance: Ensure that the company vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and adequately stocked with window cleaning supplies at all times.
- Safety and Training: Attend weekly safety meetings and participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- 1+ year(s) of relative experience in a similar role.
- 1+ year(s) of experience operating aerial scissor lift platforms and other boom lift equipment.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation to/from work and job sites.
- A clean-cut appearance and ability to adhere to our dress code.
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs.
- Ability to scale and utilize ladders from 5ft to 40ft in height (safety training provided).
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors during variable weather conditions.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- High ethical standards.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Professional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Certification to operate aerial scissor lift platforms and other boom lift equipment.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish).
- Competitive Hourly Base Pay of $18 to $25.
