Job Overview

S&K Building Services is seeking a skilled Commercial Lift Operator and Window Cleaning Technician to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely operating aerial scissor lift platforms and boom lift equipment to clean windows and glass surfaces of high-rise buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleanse windows and glass surfaces using non-abrasive cleaning tools.
  • Operate aerial scissor lift platforms and boom lift equipment to reach high-rise windows.
  • Communicate with site contacts before, during, and after completion of work.
  • Transport and set-up water-fed poles to clean windows of multi-story buildings.
  • Ensure the company vehicle is clean, maintained, and stocked with window cleaning supplies.
  • Attend weekly safety meetings.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of relative experience.
  • 1+ year of experience operating aerial scissor lift platforms and boom lift equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation to/from work and job sites.
  • Clean-cut appearance and adherence to our dress code.
  • Able to lift up to 60lbs.
  • Able to scale and utilize ladders from 5ft to 40ft in height.
  • Able to work in variable weather conditions.
  • Excellent time-management skills.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Professional with interpersonal and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Certified to operate aerial scissor lift platforms and other boom lift equipment.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish).
