About the Opportunity

IQ Fiber is seeking a skilled and ambitious Commercial Sales Representative to drive commercial services growth and expand our presence in the small and medium business market.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of consistent sales production, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve or surpass assigned sales targets
  • Become a subject matter expert on IQ Fiber's product portfolio and effectively communicate the benefits to potential customers
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calls, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential deals, ensuring proper qualification and prioritization of leads
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of outside sales experience in broadband or telecommunications
  • Proven track record of consistent sales production and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of door-to-door prospecting activity and willingness to travel as required
  • Working knowledge of computers and Customer Relationship Management tools
