As a Manager within the Operations and Supply Chain Consulting division, you will take on a leadership role in one of the fastest-growing and most entrepreneurial teams at RSM. You will benefit from the resources and cross-functional support of the largest middle market firm while operating in a lean and agile environment where your insights and experiences can directly influence our service offerings and client engagement strategies. We are continuously seeking to broaden our service scope and industry reach, and your expertise will be vital in this endeavor.
We are in search of consultants capable of addressing the complex challenges faced by the middle market throughout the entire supply chain. We require engagement leaders who can pinpoint the core issues our clients are experiencing and utilize data to propose innovative strategic and operational solutions. Furthermore, we need individuals who can communicate effectively with clients and team members, fostering enduring relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, mentor, and develop team members by providing timely and constructive feedback, along with recruitment and retention initiatives.
- Lead business development efforts, networking, proposal generation, and marketing content creation.
- Oversee engagement economics, including proposal budgeting, pricing, margin management, and risk assessment.
- Utilize industry and subject matter expertise to conduct client assessments, defining the current state through data analysis, interviews, and facilitated workshops.
- Identify business drivers and prioritize work efforts swiftly across the engagement team to enhance productivity.
- Propose, develop, implement, and manage solutions for complex client initiatives to achieve desired outcomes while maintaining engagement quality.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients, including C-suite executives, to build and sustain excellent client relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of 6 years of professional consulting experience or relevant industry experience (prior consulting experience is highly preferred).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to resolve complex business challenges through data analysis and process mapping.
- Capability to navigate ambiguity effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Strong client service and relationship-building abilities.
- Team-oriented with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Willingness to travel 50% or more.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
- APICS Certifications (CPIM, CSCP).
- Project Management Certification (PMP).
- Lean Six Sigma Certification.

Compensation Range: $103,300 - $207,400. Selected individuals will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
