Project Manager - Fire Sprinkler

As a Project Manager - Fire Sprinkler, you'll play a critical role in leading our fire protection installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage fire sprinkler protection installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans to meet schedules and budgets, and communicate project progression to stakeholders.
  • Conduct regular Work in Progress meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
  • Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and project specifications.
  • Ensure AHJ requirements and departmental/SOX procedures are followed.
  • Coordinate change orders and drive toward overall margin improvement on every job.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field, or 5 years of industry experience.
  • Five years of fire protection, construction, sprinkler, alarm/detection, or related project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and customers in difficult situations.
  • Able to travel at least 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriter's requirements, and applicable building codes.
  • NICET Level II or higher.
