About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Project Manager to manage Fire SPRINKLER protection installation projects in commercial, educational, healthcare, and industrial facilities. As a Fire Sprinkler Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and communicating project progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets
  • Understand and follow all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications
  • Convey a sense of professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, labor, and management
  • Responsible for communication and status reporting to project staff, customer, and management
  • Manage project resources, duty assignment, responsibilities, scope of authority, and provide technical advice and problem resolution to all aspects of project
  • Track projects expenditures and installation progress through reviews of status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules of plans as required
  • Maintain full financial accountability to project and require ability to forecast financial trends across project
  • Maintain full accountability to project quality and conduct inspections of work site to ensure workmanship meets installation required quality standards and expectations
  • Provide responsive, concise, and professional support to all customers and other personnel and ensure timely follow-up on all customer concerns and issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical, business, or equivalent field OR 5 years industry experience
  • Five years fire protection, construction, Sprinkler, alarm/detection, or related project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents
  • Possess a strong and active solid understanding of MS Excel and ability to build tracking spreadsheets, reference data in other spreadsheets, and build macros
  • Able to travel at least 10% of the time
  • Knowledge of NFPA and IEC standards, Underwriter's requirements, and applicable building codes preferred
