About the Role: As a Produce Sales Representative, you will be responsible for coordinating sales activities to achieve satisfactory sales and profits for the company. You will address customer needs and ensure their satisfaction, meeting all company and sales profit objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a sound working knowledge of all markets and growing conditions.
  • Develop pricing strategies and create price/order guides.
  • Meet with retailers, vendors, and fellow employees to maintain effective relationships and communicate customer needs.
  • Organize special sales and promotions, assist with departmental resets, and participate in grand openings as needed.
  • Process credit memos, responsibility forms, and other job-related paperwork within set time lines.
  • Walk warehouse checks, ensuring product quality and food safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with extensive knowledge of the Foodservice industry and produce. A minimum of two years of sales experience selling food service products is required. Additionally, you should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and through others, adaptability, flexibility, critical thinking, and intermediate computer skills.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary, including $63,000 per year based on experience, plus 10% commission.
