The coordinator is tasked with inventory management, procurement, and compliance with legal standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Primary Duties (listed by significance and/or time allocation)

Engages with patients to identify supply requirements as specified by healthcare providers, fostering strong relationships with clients. Effectively communicates pertinent information to relevant staff and documents interactions accordingly. Generates patient orders within the system and coordinates shipping schedules. Collaborates with nursing and pharmacy staff to confirm the availability of supplies and delivery confirmations. Responsible for sourcing and purchasing all inventory supplies, adhering to established procurement protocols. Identifies cost-effective products as recommended by healthcare professionals and company contracts. Works to minimize shipping costs for products ordered and delivered to the pharmacy. Maintains a thorough understanding of product applications. Ensures accurate inventory management and accountability for discrepancies. Participates in physical inventory assessments. Implements inventory control measures and establishes minimum order quantities. Monitors the tracking and maintenance of equipment, securing cost-effective rental options as needed. Adheres to legal and ethical standards to protect the confidentiality of patient and proprietary information. Engages in the assessment, management, and reporting of medication-related incidents and equipment failures. Completes Quality Assurance Review forms accurately and submits them to management. May be tasked with delivering medications and supplies, following established purchasing protocols. Participates in on-call duties as necessary. Accepts additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management.

Supervisory Duties:

This position does not include supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, performance evaluations, or disciplinary actions.

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications & Skills:

If responsible for deliveries, the candidate must possess a valid driver's license and liability insurance in the state of employment. Proficient in verbal and written communication with diverse audiences, including team members, management, and external vendors. Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate a computer, navigate software, and manage files. Familiarity with email communication and internet browsing.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment.

Compensation:

Salary will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, and alignment with market data. Minimum pay is $16.01.
