Job Summary:

A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the daily flow of clinical supplies between the pharmacy and nursing departments. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure timely and accurate deliveries of supplies and medication as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct patient contact to ascertain supply needs and establish relationships with clients.
  • Purchase all supplies for inventory, following correct purchasing procedures, and source cost-effective products as directed by clinicians and Option Care product contracts.
  • Maintain accurate inventory, accountable for discrepancies, and participate in physical inventory.
  • Monitor equipment tracking and maintenance, and obtain cost-effective rental equipment.
  • Observe legal and ethical guidelines for safeguarding patient and proprietary Option Care information.
  • Participate in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication-related incidents and equipment errors.
  • May be responsible for delivering drugs and supplies, following correct purchasing procedures.
  • Participate in on-call responsibilities if required.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic level PC skills and email skills.
  • Ability to travel at least 50% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or delivery setting.
