Leadership Responsibilities:

Performance Management:

  • Assist the Store Manager in realizing store business objectives, including sales, customer service, and operational targets.
  • Help develop action plans and monitor execution to optimize sales and ensure consistent performance outcomes.
  • Work with the Store Manager to present data-driven insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
  • Engage in business outreach initiatives and relay leads to the Store Manager and relevant teams.
  • Identify performance gaps and contribute to the development of strategies to address and manage these challenges effectively.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure accurate scheduling and staffing to effectively execute initiatives and operational tasks while maintaining appropriate sales coverage.
  • Assist in training team members on all internal operational processes.
  • Stay updated on corporate communications, directives, initiatives, and policies.
  • Support the Store Manager in implementing store programs aimed at enhancing efficiency in sales, service, operations, and branding.

Workplace Culture:

  • Contribute to a store environment where all contributions are valued and recognized.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and development, ensuring that training resources are utilized effectively.
  • Act as a role model for all team members, providing enthusiastic and motivational leadership.
  • Assist in building a strong pipeline of external talent through effective recruitment strategies.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to conduct regular team meetings to keep all members informed of company directives.

Customer Experience Focus:

  • Assist in training the store team on customer service standards to deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

  • Utilize customer feedback to implement appropriate actions and resolve concerns.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure the store meets brand standards and marketing initiatives are executed effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Retail or Sales.
  • Creative individual with sound judgment and an understanding of business dynamics.
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and strategic thinker.
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates active listening and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven track record in training and developing high-performing teams.
  • Proficient in technology systems, applications, Microsoft Office, and video conferencing tools.
  • Ability to operate a computer and POS system.
Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the work shift, frequently bend, squat, twist, lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders to access merchandise, and distinguish between fabric patterns and colors.
