Position Overview:

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will serve as the primary liaison between technology and a designated business or functional area. Your role will involve defining business requirements, creating application and process specifications, collaborating with delivery teams, and ensuring that tasks are prioritized based on business value and aligned with broader business and technical strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize specialized knowledge and expertise in your field while integrating knowledge from related disciplines.
  • Lead programs with significant risk, employing advanced analytical skills to devise innovative solutions.
  • Take accountability for your work and that of others, establishing standards for operational excellence.
  • Work autonomously, seeking guidance only in the most complex scenarios.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to management and key external partners across various applications or business domains.
  • Define and evaluate complex or enterprise-wide business needs.
  • Maintain regular engagement with business partners to understand their goals and objectives.
  • Align business strategy with technology strategy, recommending optimal solutions in collaboration with enterprise architects and engineering managers.
  • Promote a lean-agile mindset throughout the business domain and portfolio of functions.
  • Design business workflows across multiple applications or business domains.
  • Engage in initiatives characterized by high complexity and volume, often involving a diverse array of applications.
  • Build and sustain a broad, active professional network.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Business Acumen:

  • Exhibit profound knowledge of products and processes within assigned domains.
  • Integrate technical expertise with an understanding of business strategy to recommend best practices for technical solutions.
  • Make decisions that align with the broader business strategy and future priorities of the domain.

Qualifications:

  • Typically, 8+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in the asset management or financial services sector.
  • Familiarity with the latest best-of-breed technologies.
  • Ability to clearly articulate business strategy and technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • Effectively communicate technical vision to all stakeholders involved in initiatives.
  • Identify impacts across domains and resolve technical conflicts and competing priorities.
  • Propose changes to business analysis processes that affect the domain.

Work Flexibility:

This position allows for remote work flexibility up to three days a week.
