  • Develop and Implement Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategies to achieve the goals outlined in the annual producer sales plan.
  • Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Identify and reach out to potential new clients within our existing client base and target groups.
  • Provide Quotes and Schedule Sales Appointments: Initiate contact with prospects to provide quotes and schedule sales appointments.
  • Assess Insurance Needs and Conduct Risk Management Reviews: Assess prospects' insurance needs, review current policies, and conduct Risk Management Reviews.
  • Gather Risk and Underwriting Information: Gather detailed risk and underwriting information, including survey data and loss history.
  • Create and Present Insurance Proposals: Create and present comprehensive insurance proposals, detailing coverages, limits, and deductibles.
  • Collaborate with Service Personnel: Collaborate with service personnel or marketers to submit company applications and select appropriate markets.
  • Meet with Clients and Prospects: Conduct meetings with clients and prospects, present proposals and renewals, and address inquiries thoroughly.
  • Provide Ongoing Assistance: Introduce clients to service personnel for ongoing assistance and direct service-related inquiries accordingly.
  • Stay Informed about Industry Trends: Stay informed about industry trends by attending training sessions and reviewing trade publications.
  • Represent the Agency: Represent the agency and insurance industry positively within the community.
Requirements
  • Proven Sales Track Record: Must have a proven track record in pursuing and closing sales successfully.
  • Ohio Property & Casualty License: Ohio Property & Casualty license is required; if not currently licensed, must be willing to obtain one.
  • Minimum of Three Years of Sales Experience: A minimum of three years of sales experience is necessary.
  • Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is a must.
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with unscheduled interruptions.
  • Ability to Sit for Extended Periods: The ability to sit for extended periods is required.
  • Business Attire: This role is public-facing and demands appropriate business attire.
  • Local and Out-of-Town Travel: Responsibilities will include local client and carrier visits during the workday, with occasional out-of-town travel.
