We are seeking an experienced construction Project Superintendent to join our team at McShane Construction Company. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and analyze working drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, electrical, and landscaping plans, to ensure details, buildability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Coordinate and implement safety measures and company programs to ensure a safe workplace and compliance with OSHA standards.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, focusing on identifying critical paths to meet project schedules and deadlines.
- Conduct regular project inspections to ensure quality and compliance with project requirements.
- Monitor project labor productivity and budget deviations, reporting to the company as necessary.
- Review and coordinate project construction documents, including shop drawings and punchlists, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- 8+ years of experience in construction, preferably in multi-family construction, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, and concrete experience.
- College education a plus.
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction, including technology, equipment, and methods.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven record of building on schedule.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and written, and work productively with others.
- Proficiency in construction management software, including Procore, Timberline, Bluebeam, CMiC, PlanGrid, Textura, and Field ID.
