We are seeking a highly skilled Principal System Administrator to join our team at Raytheon Careers in Tewksbury, MA. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level systems administration in a heterogeneous Microsoft Windows and Redhat Enterprise Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide IT systems administration in a complex environment, including Windows Server internals and Linux fundamentals.
- Work collaboratively with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements and provide documentation and training on advanced IT processes and procedures.
- Develop solutions and documentation to a variety of technical problems, including integration of hardware and operating systems.
- Collaborate with engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Support engineers in software, simulations, and hardware development.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience or 9 years of prior relevant experience.
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
- Must have Window experience.
- Experience in one of the following: Active Directory, VMware, MySQL, networking administration experience.
- VMware highly desired.
- Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification and an Operating System Certification).
- Experience with NISPOM, JAFAN, JSIG, DFARS and/or DoD/RMF.
- In-depth working experience in Windows Server.
- Experience with data storage, NAS, and SAN technologies and solutions.
- Experience with using Information Technology project lifecycle management processes.
- Experience using VMWare vCenter, vSphere, and ESX and/or other virtual computing methods.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
