POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is integral to supporting enterprise-wide operational, strategic, and financial decision-making processes for executives, senior management, and department leaders. Key responsibilities include:

1. Financial Analysis and Reporting: Develop and consolidate financial and operational analyses that drive business decisions, focusing on expenses and capital investments. Conduct financial trend analyses and summarize results, creating variance reports and multi-dimensional financial models. Escalate any financial concerns to management.

2. Performance Monitoring: Lead real-time financial performance assessments and develop root cause analyses and gap closure strategies when results deviate from expectations. Monitor expenses related to new projects and cost-reduction initiatives, providing recommendations for improvement.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting: Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with senior management and department heads. Analyze current and historical trends in key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives. Track assumptions and financial impacts of budget decisions, including new initiatives, and recommend strategies for enhancing financial performance through budget improvements and cost reductions.

4. Financial Compliance: Act as a secondary reviewer for monthly financial general ledger entries to ensure consistency with budgeted and forecasted expenses, accurately reflected in the appropriate cost centers. Analyze and review capital expenditures.

5. Ad Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct various financial analyses, including return on investment (ROI) assessments, lease versus buy evaluations, capital expenditure analyses, cost-benefit analyses, and vendor financial assessments to support operational and financial decisions.

6. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work collaboratively with members of the accounting and finance teams, as well as senior members across all enterprise areas, including Operations, Sales, Marketing, Information Technology, Human Resources, and Legal, depending on assigned divisions.

7. Executive Communication: Engage in challenging discussions with executives regarding budgets and forecasts, sharing strategies and perspectives for budget enhancements and cost reductions, often negotiating changes to reach mutually agreeable solutions.

8. Compliance and Core Values: Ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and demonstrate the company's core competencies and values throughout all responsibilities.

JOB SCOPE: This position operates with minimal supervision, applying financial analysis principles to execute a variety of analytical procedures. The role significantly influences the corporate planning process and involves direct interaction with executive management, senior management, and department heads.
