Assembly and Painting Specialist

The Assembly/Painter/Packer position is a critical role within our manufacturing team, responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the assembly, painting, and packaging of speed reducers. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly: Assemble product according to established methods, procedures, and standards, and/or sub-assembly of component parts from bills of materials and production orders.
- Painting: Perform painting process for completed units for shipment according to established methods, procedures, and standards.
- Packing: Inspect units to ensure that the unit is painted according to standards, and package painted units and ensure that all units are packed correctly.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and at the necessary pace required to meet customer demand rates and production goals.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and collaborative skills.
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to changes in internal processes, delays, or unexpected events.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- 2 years of previous experience in an assembly position.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly desired.
The majority of time is spent in a manufacturing production environment with some climate-controlled areas. Personal protective safety equipment must be worn, and proper safety precautions must be observed.
