**Job Summary**

Aerotek is seeking a skilled Assembly Specialist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. As an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for assembling crates and stacking pallets used to hold Siemens Energy products. You will also handle excess materials, distribute tools or products as needed, and operate a forklift and crane.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assemble crates and stack pallets used to hold Siemens Energy products.
  • Handle all Siemens Energy excess materials and distribute tools or products as needed.
  • Operate a forklift and crane (certification provided).
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring tapes.
  • Confirm inventory count and accuracy.
  • Complete required paperwork.
  • Perform routine and minor maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in all areas utilized by the department.
  • Assist with crate building and material packaging as required.
  • Perform related duties as needed by the Crating Manager.

**Requirements**

  • Previous experience required includes knowing how to drive at least one type of lift.
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
  • Receiving dock is cold in winter and hot in summer.
